Coronado Global Resources’ US$105 million Mammoth underground coal project in the Bowen Basin, Central Queensland is on budget and on schedule to start producing metallurgical coal by the end of the year using bord and pillar operational experience at the Curragh complex.
Once fully operational, the project is on target to deliver 1.5 – 2.0Mtpa.
Coal quality from Coronado’s Mammoth underground coal project is expected to mirror what is being mined at the existing nearby Curragh North open cut mine.
