Gerry Spindler has retired from his role as Chief Executive Officer after our Annual General Meeting held today, May 25, 2023. Douglas Thompson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Board in accordance with Coronado’s planned succession process, with Mr Spindler appointed to the position of Executive Chair of the Board.

“It has been my great honour and privilege to serve as the Chief Executive of Coronado for more than 11 years. I am proud of the company that we have built and its leadership position in the resources sector. I would like to thank the board and the entire team at Coronado for the work that they have done during my tenure. I feel that now is the right time to step back from the role of Chief Executive and look forward to continuing to contribute to the Company as Executive Chair” – Gerry Spindler.
